MuSool Academy has Great Showing at US Nationals

Congratulations to the four MuSool Taekwondo students that competed in the 2010 Nationals. June 30th through July 4th the American Athletic Union (AAU) Taekwondo and USA-Taekwondo both held their National Events here in Florida. Jackie Lauricella, Jason Midyette and Gus Ben-Hamo all competed at the AAU Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale.

Gus Ben-Hamo took the Gold Medal at the event by winning two of his matches by the seven point rule and one of his matches by 5 points. Once in the medal round he was qualified to compete at the AAU Team Trials. The Silver and Bronze medal winners bowed out to Ben-Hamo to give him the gold. Ben-Hamo will be competing at the AAU National Team Trials September 10th – 12th in Ft. Lauderdale.

Isabelle Kiester joined the MuSool Black Belts above in Orlando to compete at the USAT Nationals. Kiester placed silver. Gus Ben-Hamo brought home the bronze. Both Lauricella and Midyette put on a great display but both did not place in the top three. Midyette lost his medal round. Congratulations to everyone that competed, you made MuSool Proud.
