MuSool Black Belt Jason Midyette Invited to US Jr. World Trials

MuSool Black Belt Instructor and TaeKwonDo Player Jason Midyette earned the right to return to the Olympic Training Center (OTC)in January this past weekend. Midyette was one of three MuSool Black Belts that attended the World TaeKwonDo Team Trials Phase 1 on December 12th and 13th at the OTC in Colorado Springs, CO.

Midyette will return to the OTC January 9th and 10th with his coach Shelby Creech. If he places first in a round robin team trials he will be on the US Jr. World Team and will travel to Tijuana, Mexico for the Jr. World Championships March 6th – 9th.

Gus Ben-Hamo and Bo Godawa both attended the Championship but fell short of making the cut to return. Both Black Belts sparred gallantly but did not win enough matches to place in the top four. This was Godawa’s first black belt tournament after being selected as a black belt.
