The MuSool Black Belt Board voted to put Isabelle Kiester into the MuSool Advanced Training Techniques (MATTs) Program under the Direction of Master Shelby Creech. The MATTs Program is the final step for a color belt before going through the MuSool Black Belt Selection. Every MATTs Candidate has a MuSool Black Belt Instructor to guide them through the three phases of the program.
Kiester will start the First Phase (the training phase) of the program immediately under Creech. If Kiester stays on target she will receive her MuSool Black Belt in early February 2010.
As of right now Bo and Josh Godawa are the only other two students in the MATTs Program. Bo Godawa is instructed by MuSool Master Chuck Moore and Josh Godawa is under the direction of Jason Midyette. Both Godawa’s are expected to go through the MuSool Black Belt Selection on October 24th in front of the MuSool Black Belt Board.
