MuSool TaeKwonDo Place Big at Mt. Dora Championships


The MuSool TaeKwonDo Team placed top honors at the 2009 Mt. Dora Championships on February 21st.

Blue Belt Isabelle Kiester placed third in forms and first in sparring in the intermediate division. Red Belts Bo and Josh Godawa both received second in forms.Josh won 2nd in sparring while Bo took the gold in sparring.

Black Belts Jesse Midyette and Gus Ben-Hamo battled it out for the gold in sparring with Gus being the victor. Jackie Lauricella took the top honors in adult female black belt division.

DaeDo Florida and Florida TaeKwonDo Games Partner up to use Electronic Chest Protectors at 2009 Florida TaeKwonDo Games

Daedo Florida and MuSool Academy has teamed for the 2009 Florida TaeKwonDo Games to be held in Port Orange on May 30th to use the new True Score Electronic Chest Guards for the 14 to 17 and Adult Black Belt Divisions.

The new electronic hogu’s are the future of TaeKwonDo according to owner Bill Hoover and DaeDo will be providing the hogu’s to the black belts to wear during the championship.

MuSool Academy: Cypress Creek Elementary School's Partner of the Year




MuSool Academy of Martial Arts was the 2008/2009 Partner of the Year for Cypress Creek Elementary School.

Shelby Creech, also Volunteer of the Month of December for Cypress Creek, accepted the award from Principle David Butler during the morning announcements that are on the schools close circuit TV.

MuSool Academy is one of 46 business's that are in the running for Volusia County Partner of the Year to be announced at the end of the school year.
