Karate Kid Movie Night!

MuSool Academy will be celebrating the opening of the new KARATE KID movie by hosting a special Karate Kid Movie Night on Friday, June 11th at MuSool Academy and Hollywood Theatre in Port Orange. The cost is $35.00 for Pizza, a Movie Ticket to see the Karate Kid and lots of fun "Karate" games! Please let Shelby Creech know as soon as possible if you plan on going. Space is limited.

MuSool Academy to Host the Fourth Florida Taekwondo Games

MuSool Academy will be hosting its fourth MuSool Taekwondo Games on June 5th at the Port Orange Gym. The Florida Taekwondo Games is a great first tournament and it is local. You can register by going to www.musool.org. MuSool Academy will also need help running the event. If you are interested in helping please contact Shelby Creech at creech@musool.org.

Students Promoted at Belt Testing

MuSool Academy had a color belt testing and promotion on May 15th for both the Hapkido and Taekwondo.

In the Hapkido Program Steve Johnston received his Yellow Belt, David Bush obtained his High Yellow Belt and Dawn Wicklund was promoted to Orange Belt.

In the Taekwondo Program Aubrey Wicksell and Matt Rice received their Yellow Belts; Nykia Ross and Devin Weller both obtained their High Yellow Belts; Viann Zhang was promoted to Orange Belt; Hanna Ward won her High Orange; Bailey Creech received his Green Belt; Aaron Creech, jr was promoted to High Green; Tippy Pack-Brown got her High Blue Belt; Bradley Shuler received his High Red Belt and Aiden Charnock was promoted to Deputy Black Belt.

Congratulations to everyone that was promoted. The next promotion will be held on July 31st.

MuSool Academy Announces Upcoming Summer Events

MuSool Academy announced the upcoming events for the summer. They are as follows:

May 22nd and 23rd: USA Taekwondo Qualifier. (ICI CENTER, Daytona) MuSool Academy will have 4 students playing in that event. Come support those players.

June 5th: MuSool Academy will be hosting the 4th Florida Taekwondo Games at the Port Orange Gym. This is a great first tournament. You can register at www.musool.org.

June 9th – 30th: MuSool Summer Camp Session 1. $89.00 per week.

June 14th: First Meeting of the Women’s Self Defense and Fitness Class.

June 30: July 4th: US Nationals

July 17th: MuSool Black Belt Selection

July 31st: MuSool Color Belt Testing
